The UK national team won a total of 8 medals — including 3 Golds, 4 Silvers, and 1 Bronze — at the 5th European Pencak Silat Championships. 68 athletes from 8 member countries took part in the championships on 15–16 March 2013 in Espace Albert Fol, Valleiry, France. The championships were organised by the Association Pencak Silat France (APSF) and supervised by the European Pencak Silat Federation (EPSF) and PERSILAT.
The UK's medal haul cemented their status as one of Europe's leading Pencak Silat nations, with Samir Ghanim defending his Open Class title and the team delivering standout performances across multiple weight categories.
