Swiss Open Pencak Silat Championships
24 & 25
September 2005

The Pencak Silat Federation of the UK (PSF UK) sent a team to take part in the Swiss Open Pencak Silat Championships, which were held in Kloten, near Zurich Airport. The championships were organised by the Swiss Pencak Silat Federation (PSVS) and were conducted in accordance with PERSILAT Competition Rules and Regulations.

The competition categories consisted of Tanding (Silat Olahraga).  The Championships were open to clubs, which meant that countries could register more than one fighter per category. A total of some 55 competitors from 10 European countries (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and the UK) as well as from 2 Asian countries (Malaysia and Singapore) took part.
